Does anybody have any data on domesticated crops or animals in the Nile Valley? During the pre-dyanstic into the dyanstic period. I would appreciate a list of these crops and their origins in regards to ancient Egypt. Two specific crops I know are emmer wheat and barley. Some animals I know are the donkey, cat, and dog. A big plus would be what wild species does each of these come from.

Besides the African donkey and the abyssinian cat, I know that the domesticated dog the Egyptians and other peoples in Africa have is descended from the African wild dog.

I've seen pictures of these dogs before, so I'll try to find some.
