Hello, I've read the story about Tut's revenge/curse and that a lot of the people who were engaged in the opening suddenly died. And I'm wondering if there is any curse connected to other pharaos. I've heard that the priest gave a speech with curses on those who would steel from the graves. Does anyone know more about this topic. Kind Regards Clio

OK, even if it's nonsense. Does anyone know legends about other pharaos curses than King Tut.

No curses, but I know that rural village women in Egypt often sit on or rub old artifacts on themselves for fertility. Some circle around the objects seven times or jump over them.
Rural people believe spirits[afarits, jinns, ghosts] inhabit certain tombs.
The so-called Tut-ankh-amun curse has been explain by bacteria or mold. Some people can die also from the breathing in air from the tombs.
However, there is another legend about a ocean linear carrying a Egyptian mummy that sank. Not too sure of the details presently.
