Hi guys i am trying to find the origin of this coffin bas have been searching for 2 days and i cant find where was it located before it was acquired by the Louvre in Abu Dhabi
i found 3 princesses with the same name, one is a NY but a different coffin, and a mummy in egypt
The placement of Henuttawy in the royal families of the late 20th dynasty and the early 21st dynasty is not entirely clear and open to interpretation.
The titles attested for Henuttawy helps us identify which of Pinedjem's children were hers: Psusennes I, who went on to become pharaoh in Tanis; his wife Mutnedjmet; and Maatkare, who became God's Wife of Amun. It is likely she was also the mother of Henuttawy who is depicted along with Maatkare and Mutnedjmet in Karnak.
This (similar) coffin was found among dozens of others in the first Deir al-Bahri Cache. Maatkare was probably the daughter of the high priest of Amun, Pinudjem I, and Queen Henuttawy. She probably held the title, "Divine Adoratrice of the God Amun". This coffin is of the mummiform type and is particularly large. It was probably designed to contain a second coffin.
