Egypt demanding Israel to scrap its nuclear arsenal
Egypt has championed a draft resolution warning against the spread of nuclear weapons in the Middle East.
The motion, which was circulated among the 62 member states of an ad hoc committee set up by the UN General Assembly, demanded Israel to scrap its undeclared nuclear arsenal.
It says Israel is the only country in the region, which has not so far inked the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
The signatories to the motion urged Israel to reconsider its position and sign the NPT for a Middle East free from weapons of mass destruction.

Egypt is right (and late) to make this demand. The instability in the region is all due to Israel's presence and insanity. It makes sense that Arab countries will attempt to arm themselves likewise since Israel acts as terrorists and holds their nukes over the heads of surrounding nations. Instead of treating symptoms, treat the cause of the illness. That cause is Israel.
