I have a recipe that calls for club soda but I do not have any. I found online a place that says you can substitute sprite or ginger ale for Club Soda.
Has anyone ever heard of this? Do you think it might work? Thanks.

Well club soda isn't sweet at all so I wouldn't substitute for something that is sweet. I think you can use plain seltzer water if you can get your hands on it. Or any type of carbonated water.

also if you add melted butter to the mixture. this way u dont even need to put any oil down in the pan and they come out really fluffy and moist and have great flavor.
