This is the first time in history the US men's boxing has not won a Gold medal at the Olympic games. Many US Albinos are upset at this fact. They ask why, how come, and what gives. Stepping in for the first time in history is Olympic Female boxing, and it's a good thing too, else the US would have received no gold medals for boxing.
17 year old teenager Claressa Shields has alot of boxing potential. The 1st year of Olympic Female boxing saw young Claressa dominate her way from Bronze, to Silver, all the way to winning the gold medal in the finals against her 2 time champion Russian opponent. This young person not only impressed me with her ability, speed, heart and attitude, but also impressed Liala Ali who sat in as the female boxing commentator, that Ali promised to take Claressa under her skillful wing and advise her, taking her to the next level.
Claressa is NOT your typical black woman, but that's exactly what makes her so very special.

While basketball and football are TEAM sports, boxing is mano vs mano. The team can't help the boxer once he is in the ring. Due to this TEAM structure, there are more basketball/football players than there are boxers, but comparing the highest paid football/basketball players to the highest paid boxers show boxing as the most skilled, and highest paid sport. Couple this with the fact that boxers like Oscar De la Hoya, Bernard Hopkins, and Floyd Mayweather manage themselves, thus keeping the Lion's share of profits versus basketball/football who make a small fraction of what their team owners and managers make, there really is little comparison.
