Recently, I came across this image in a book. The article said that a dispute raged whether this is Alessandro the Medici by Pontormo, as Alessandro was described as 'black haired,' and this person is a red head.

Might be a son, though? He had some natural children, with different ladies.

A very Black looking lady by Pontormo: not sure it's a real person, but she looks very real. Could picture someone looking like that walking in Paramaribo. Ugly foot!
