Blue blood is an expression from the Spanish phrase "sangre azul," indicating noble birth or descent. This is said to derive from the fact that the native Spanish had fairer skin, which displays veins more prominently, than people of Arab origin. After the Moorish occupation of Spain, intermarriage occurred. The result seems to have been that the aristocracy, particularly certain families in Castille, who would not mix with the Moors, showed rather bluer blood vessels (in, for example, the back of the hand) than the ordinary folk.
Where is the merit in blue veins, pray?
This is what passes for science in Europe, right now.

I said that blue blood refers to blue men, the European blacks (500-1500) who descended from the Grimaldi Man.

The description "blue blood" is just a repackaged label for; Albino, or Mulatto.

The above also, rather than necesarily uglier varicose veins that protrude demonstrates the myth that people with skin pale enough so you can see the veins had blood that was blue.

They used this to try to imply that they were superior to people that had red blood.
It is not certain how serious they were about it or if it was just sort of nickname level slang with an implication that they were superior.

The known Grimaldi skeletons are comprised of two skeletons.
As with all bare bones their skin complexion is unknown.
Was this a small tribe in a particular region of France or millions of people? It is unknown but so far, despite wantings, there is no archaelogical evidence that they were a large population or that if there was they survived into later periods.
Other later skeletons are not of the same proportions.

The Grimaldi's crania is thought by some to be African but by others having some African traits but others Austrailoid traits.

This is the great singer Salif Keita. If one were analyzing his skull it could not predict skin color.

It is theorized that Africans went into to Europe several times in prehistory, sometimes dying of starvation or retreating due to ice age conditions. It was only after several migrations at different times that human beings were settled in Europe permanently.

The term "blue blood" has not been known before the 19th century.
Another related explanation for the genesis of the blue blood concept is the extraordinarily high incidence of hemophilia among royal families. Not only has hemophilia been called "the Royal Disease", but its origins in the family tree of Queen Victoria apparently spread throughout Europe's monarchies, such that those with the disease were overly protected, did not go out of doors much and their skin appeared bluish. As referenced above, the Spanish nobility of the time were thought to carry the hemophilia line, as Victoria's grand daughter Eugenie married King Alfonso XIII of Spain, which may contradict (or complement) the Lacey explanation.

I hate people who want to measure black people heads, they are the worst of nazi dom.

Can you name a source for this?

The descendents of the Blue Men, who were Africans, called themselves Blue Bloods, I would reason.

The Nobility, the adel in Dutch, derived this name from German 'edel' which means 'true.'Hence I argued that the Blue Blood considered themselves 'true' Europeans wh arrived 45.000 years ago, next to the whites who came much later, 6000 years ago.

Constantijn Huygens, working for the Orange family, from the high bourgeoisie: the regent class, mentions in his autobiography an experiment by an Italian doctor which proved that the veins from blue bloods do not differ from those of a non-noble, proving blood had nothing to with nobility.

quote:
In
een verhaal over de anatomische ontleding van een lijk van een edelman laat hij de
aanwezige artsen na een nauwkeurig onderzoek van de aderen eenstemmig verklaren,
dat de adeldom niet in het bloed zat

Now that you yourself have noticed that almost everyone has blue veins showing, you ask why they came up with such a stupid story.
