I've noticed with the Nubian population that the closer they get to Egypt the more "refined" and Cushitic they look. For instance this quote, although the term "Caucasoid" is ignorant.
"Egyptian Nubians retained, from the Neolithic times until now, their prevailing Caucasoid character in spite of their successful adaptation to the climate and an almost permanent Black Sudanese gene inflow."

There was some picture from forumbiodiversity of a group of nubians from southern Egypt who were protesting in the capital but I can't find that particular thread. But at first glance, I assumed they were Horners, something like Eritrean.
I wonder if it's just Cushitic influence from the Beja with this sub-tribe of Nubians.
