Mena: I dont know how many times I have seen that story of a drug cartel boss making billions of dollars by smuggling drug in the USA and around the world. He killed hundred of thousands of competitors in the process. the drug boss payed million of dollars in bribes to politicians and law enforcement. The drug boss live like a king but at the end the billionaire drug cartel boss end up dead like the Colombian Medellin cartel boss Pablo Escobar and the Mexican Juarez Cartel boss Amado Carillo Fuentes or end up in USA prison for life like the Cali cartel bosses the Ochoa brothers.
What is the point of becoming a billionaire drug dealer boss if you have end up dead or put a prison for life after a decade. I guess drug dealers follows the Italian WW2 era chief state Benito Mussolini maxim that said I will rather live one day as a lion then one hundred years as a sheep. Drug dealing money looks like the devil money. There is an African saying that say if you eat Shango money you have to pay Shango back (with your life or a life). It would have been a better idea for a drug cartel boss to be a fraudster, a car thief, a hacker, a jewellery smuggler and an art thief. It is less likely to be kill in those kind of crimes and if the criminal get caught the prison sentence will be short. A successful criminal and those low profile crimes are more likely to retire rich and enjoy the rest of their life.
