What makes skin color a better measure of race? Why not hair type? If we measured race by hair, which is as valid as skin color, Negros would be mighty lonely in this world. LMFAO!!

Good point, the answer is it doesn't play into their social/political and sexual interests. In regard to the latter, Somalis have a higher frequency of wavy hair texture that is negligible to non-existent across west/central/south sub-Saharan Africa (the vast majority of sub-Saharan Africans are woolly haired), so the afrocentrists on this forum don't want to separate themselves from Somalis. Funny thing is Somali women with wavy hair want nothing to do with west/central African men of negroid phenotype. I used to post on plenty Somali/Ethiopia and hamitic forums:

Eyebrows It would be silly to have a unibrow race... maybe not
Most everyone has straight eyebrow hair and coiled pubes so texture is too general.
Besides if we just looked at hair texture on the head we could lump non 'Afroed' people with dogs, cats etc. Now that would be silly.
