Obama would have been hard-pressed to make the case for other countries to do more with the U.S. failing to reach a goal that amounts to only about 2 percent of the 480,000 Syrian refugees in need of resettlement.
"We are very comfortable that we are bringing people in who will be a great plus to our country." Kerry said.
Kerry said that "not one event in the United States, of terror" has been committed by a refugee allowed to resettle in the U.S.
But two Iraqi refugees were arrested in 2011 for plotting to send weapons and money to al-Qaida operatives fighting against U.S. troops back in Iraq. The scheme was foiled, but the case did leave jitters about whether extremists could slip in among the Syrian refugees.
"We believe ... the people who are fleeing Syria are the most harmed by terrorism. They are parents. They are children. They are orphans," Kerry said. "It is very important that we do not close our hearts to the victims of such violence."
Kerry also applauded Argentina's pledge to resettled 3,000 Syrian refugees in the South American country and said the United States is committed to working with the government there on security issues.

At its peak the percentage of blacks in the U.S. population was 20% in the years 1775 and later. Many mainstream pundits are always eager to point out that blacks are 13% or less of the U.S. population. Some even say 10%.
Since the Civil Rights era in the 1960s, those numbers have been declining, so one must ask why. There are some obvious empirical facts. Blacks account for 30% of all abortions. Planned Parenthood and the Democratic Party(Party of the KKK and Jim Crow and Lynching fame). There is a concerted attempt to imprison as many black males as possible. That obviously cuts down on the black birth rate. The number is touted at 50%. Then there is the internecine killing numbers in the depressed inner city areas like Chicago, Atlanta, etc. where the black self-killing rate is the highest in the U.S.
The fact is that Africans/blacks were brought to the Americas to serve as the labor power for a rapidly developing Capitalism.
The migrating Europeans conquered all the lands of the Americas then created colony states that were appendages of Europe--namely, the countries of Spain, Portugal, Britain, and France. The indigenous Native Americans were shunted aside or just bred out to form the mestizo classes that dominate Central and South America. Proof of European military and cultural power is evident from the fact that Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French cultures and languages are dominant in the Americas.
[b] After the Africans had done their job of creating the surplus wealth for the U.S. the implicit question was always what to do with them. In Argentina, they were killed off. In Mexico they were basically bred out. Brazil's "whitening" policy of encouraging white males to impregnate as many black females as possible and encouraging migration of Europe was another tried solution.
For the U.S., the goal of diluting black numbers strength and influence was initiated by Ted Kennedy(Democrat) just after Civil Rights legislation. Mexicans and other South Americans were allowed to flow in along with migrants from Asia and elsewhere. This led to the deliberate creation of the terms "Hispanic" and "Minority". Blacks were now put under the encompassing umbrella of "minority" and they were then forced to compete with Hispanics, Arabs, Indians, Chinese and Koreans for any Federal Government social gestures involving grants, loans, housing, etc.
The implicit goal post-Civil Rights is to dilute the black percentage of the U.S. ultimately pushing them to the same status of the forgotten and reservation-dwelling Native Americans.
So-called Hispanics are now counted as the largest minority in the U.S. at some 17-18%. The policy continues with the deliberately encouraged inflow of Middle East and South Asian(Indians and Pakistani) so-called refugees. Such persons are not settled in Saudi Arabia and other rich Middle Eastern nations but brought in directly to the U.S. to cost the U.S. billions of dollars in their upkeep.
The ongoing flow of Arab and Muslim refugees into the U.S. is just an ongoing post-Civil Rights policy of what to do with the blacks once they have been let off the plantation and no longer legally shackled by the Jim Crow laws
The solution is now 3-pronged: i) Democrat-Margaret Sanger policy of "cheap abortions for 'poor[black]women, ii)massive incarceration of blacks, and iii)opening the immigration spigot for Hispanics, Arabs and South Asians.

Excellent post Lamin this is a great analysis of the anti Black people policy in the USA. T many Black people in the USA are children in understanding that are giving to much energy in time to the USA pro White political SYSTEM and Churches.
Afrocentric leaders fight like Marcus Garvey, Cheikh Anta Diop and Bob Marley wasnt to get a Black president of the pro White USA system but to build a powerful Africa or United States of Africa that can compete with White power in the world. It is not realistic for all Black people to leave the USA for Africa but Black American people can have business, social and cultural relation with Africa. Black American people should have one foot in the USA and one foot in Africa. Some Black people should have a branch of their family in Africa like some Jewish families have European branch and American branch. North America is also the land of Black people because long before White European migration and their African Slave kidnapping Black Africans migrated to America and lived there for thousand of years.
White people conscious and subconscious hatred of Black people is probably due to the fact that the European monarchies were Black and Mulato and ruled the White masses for thousand of years.
Each of those Syrian refugees are going to get $30,000 a year until they find a job. It may take then three years before they find that job. They probably going to get loan to go to school or free technical school education.
It is amazing how the USA governement treat Middle Eastern refugees and Cuban refugees better then poor working American people and American people on welfare.

The goal is to get the black population down to a manageable by bulking up the numbers of non-black others. Like 3-5%.
