Indian people are often brown skinned but China has masses of light skinned people Mindovermatter and Mike would call "Albino". Some are darker but they are mainly the minority groups in the south of the country, that Mike would mainly call "mulattos" That Han Chinese comprise about 92% of the Chinese population

In our data, with the exception of a low frequency haplotype in Africa, rs916977 and rs1667394 are in nearly complete LD. Therefore, we treat them as another haplotype system, BEH3, blue-eye associated haplotype #3. The blue-eye associated allele of BEH3 is CA, again the derived haplotype. In the HGDP populations BEH3 will consist of rs1667394 only since rs916977 is not present in the data set.

I thought that this was basic Knowledge already. Some of my peers were looking into ways to reduce melanin within the Iris to create blue eyes in non blue eyed individuals in college though, interestingly enough.
