He first made an MRI scan of his head, and based on that they could 3D print a replica of his skull.

Fascinating imagine having your own skull so that you can compare your mesurements to ancient skulls also I'm surprised the anthropologist says that our skull became even more gracile than medieval skulls due to our softer food.
