How have I acted like a jackass? And harassment speech is not tolerated on the web. It appears you are harassing me. I am going to find out who the moderators are and lodge a complaint against you.

It was live TV. It is possible the wig was intact until she got up there but was starting to separate. Once it was live, it was too late
Are we babies now? Blame other people when our hair is not right? There has got to be more important issues.
I might take it more seriously if this woman with the weave came out and said it was purposely overlooked.
So what are we to believe? That they hire black people on ESPN to set them up for wardrobe malfunctions?

In an age of social media where controversy draws mass attention, it is not beyond the realm of possibility ESPN made a business decision to allow her on air with a weave falling apart just to gin up ratings.

A lot of things are not beyond the realm of possibility. You could have eaten a piece of apple pie yesterday. But did you?
Unless this woman complains herself it is useless gossip.
Here's another possibility, her hair person , another black woman doesn't like her so she didn't warn her about her hair.
Hey wait a minute, isn't her stylist chinese? Or is she white?
Or maybe it's much bigger than that. Donald Trump called ESPN and had this whole thing planned. Agents snuck into her apartment when she wasn't there and loosened the weave

Do you believe a news anchorwoman would go live on television without first looking herself over in a mirror?

If a society has different groups in competition with each other it could go along religious lines like Hindus vs Muslims or Muslims vs. Christians. In some societies those factors could be considered more important than skin color
In other societies where skin color is considered more important or in societies where some other factor like religion is considered more, the more equal in numbers each side is the more potential conflict.
So a majority in most cases might feel less challenged by a minority population of 5% than it would by one of 14% and therefore a smaller percentage minority might be less pressured to conform by the majority because there are less of them and because of this considered less of a potential threat.
So when migration changes the proportion new reactions can result
