Hi,

Firstly, is there just ONE general embarkation location in Aswan for all the Nile Cruise boats? Or are they scattered a long distance along the river?

If the former, does anyone know a rough taxi fare from Aswan train station to the boat?

They are scattered all along the river, quite a long long line of them. Most taxis will know the boats and where they dock. A taxi shouldnt cost more than 5-10LE to any of the boats. And the station is only a couple of minutes walk from the corniche, so if your boat is at the station end, you might be able to walk easily.
