A bit off topic, I know, but have you been to Tunisia recently?

I've browsed some websites where tourists add in their comments about the resort and hotel they stayed in but I'm looking for a bit more.

Re. the cost of living, eating out and taxis, is it as cheap as Luxor?
I've only been in Tunisia once at it didnt seem as cheap to me.

How much would a short 5 mins taxi ride in Tunisia be? any ideas?

I dont want to find out the hard way.

I'd be grateful for any advice (or links to other sites) you can offer me, I depart in 48 hours. Thanks.
