So i read on someones blog that an egyptian visa which costs around $40. Actually costs LE40. and that it costs 40 in whatever currency you have so if you had the LE40 you would only have to pay that. Is there any truth to this?

its easier to get the egyptian visa upon arrival at any egyptian airport, it cost you 15 $ dollars or 90 egyptian pounds, as long as you have a western passport

the inetresting part is that on rhe stamp that basically is the visa that you buy it sais LE32 which is only what $6 on a travellers blog I read that he was advised to have LE with him when entering as he can pay the price in whatever currency yet they don't disclose that to you
