Average rent = 2000-3000 2-3 br furnished apt

Neighborhood = safe, alive, a lot of cafes, restaurants, shopping, etc

Transportation link = I use a car but buses, microbuses, and taxis are everywhere and Mohandseen is near Downtown

Taher sq rail station = I have no idea

what Pojo posted is very true ...but take care that Mohandessin in summer time is favoured by Gulf tourists ...the rent prices go sky high ...i was searching for a flat for a couple of forigner freinds near my flat in mohandessin ...the cost is in between 2000 and 4500 in may,june...in july and August it rise to 10000 and 12000 ...so do sum searching...and if u need help i can send u the info i have..btw Mohandessin is a good place to live in Cairo...u r near to everything
