Is amazing to see how we are all related to Egypt in different ways

1 )There are the westerns who lives in Egypt and who seek support from other westerns as they get frantic to live in such diferent culture

2) Those ones who always complain (including westerns and Egyptians) [Big Grin]

3) Egyptian expatriate around the world who likes to keep themselves updated about what happen in their country

4) westerns and others folks who like to know more about Egyptian’s life style

Who else ?

It’s not surprising that some communities get upset because they are unsure of whom the forum is aimed at!

Western raised Iraqi who missed her roots....
And moved to Egypt!

I also think that Egyptian expats seek contact with their co-Egyptians in the foreign countries they live in through this site.


I made wonderful friends on this board, although it was NOT my intention. [Big Grin] But what can I say?
Couldn't resist the charm of some of you though. [Wink]


Although I come to Egypt 4-6 times a year, I still find ES one of the best ways to get a bird's eye view of what's going on inside the minds and hearts of the Egyptians. You can't get that from any news website.

To all the co-Egyptians and Egypt Lovers on this site, who love Egypt against all odds: You are wonderful people, and I Love (puke) You.

MK yes me too I have met some wonderful people here even if I never met anybody in the real life so far, I enjoy reading through their post. Being so far from your home country must be sometimes difficult, and I guess ES must help you a lot to feel less homesick. I know what it is to feel homesick [Frown]
