CAIRO: A family in Marsa Matrouh suffered through a series of tragic accidents that resulted in the death of their three children, reported Al-Ahram daily newspaper.
It started when the family decided to go to the clinic and circumcise their three-month-old son. When his three-year-old brother asked why they were going to the clinic, the father decided to explain to him the circumcision procedure. This allegedly prompted the three-year-old boy to take a pair of scissors and attempt to circumcise his brother himself.
The father walked in to find his newborn soaking in a pool of blood. He rushed to his car carrying the baby to take him to the hospital.
As he was frantically backing out of the parking spot, he did not see that his three-year-old son was standing behind the car and accidentally hit him. In even more of a frenzied state, he took both injured sons to the hospital. Sadly, both children died.
At the same time, the mother was bathing their two-year-old daughter in the tub when she heard the father scream as he found his newborn bleeding to death. She hurried out of the bathroom, leaving the girl by herself.
Failing to catch up with the frenzied father, the mother retuned to find her daughter drowning in the tub. The girl had lost her balance and slipped.
The father is currently suffering from a nervous breakdown. The mother is suffering form a nervous shock and has not spoken since the accident. Doctors are not sure if her condition is permanent.
