I need to buy a myrtle plant. People who work in a nearby nursery cannot understand me. They do not know word “myrtle” and whoever I asked could not identify a small branch of the plant.
Google translate gives me الآس نبات عطري but nobody knows what this can be.

Perhaps you can visit Orman Botanical Gardens: This is the largest botanical garden in Cairo, with the greatest diversity of trees and plants.

I've tried "raihan" (or reehan) - does not work. Nowadays it is used for Basil (at least, in my pronunciation). I shall try "hadass" but hubby says that there is no such plant (although he does not know much about plants).
