.... and it bothers me very much. Okay I confess I checked the member directory for various people but when I found his profile it was indeed like a shock.
Seeing his pic is still like a sting through my heart. He didn't change much, just looks older (but don't we all)! And no I won't give the link!!
Anyone else experienced similar things with Facebook??

I have, I have had a couple of blasts from the past start with "remember me" OMG!
One guy broke my heart and moved back to NZ many moons ago and is now single and telling me he broke his own heart leaving me lol...
He even recalled what CD he bought me for my birthday and he was shocked when I told him I still played it!

It was my ex who introduced me to facebook. He hunted me down in friends reunited and paid the fee so he could send me a message. Then when we met up all went great for a few weeks. Then it came out that he had a girlfriend and he just wanted a "bit of fun on the side".
Now i remember why he was an EX.

I am so thankful that my mother can barely navigate IE.
She cannot operate her PC fully, can't use her printer half the time and her gigolo boy resets her internet settings constantly so she cannot do what she normally does at work.
Mother got sucked in by a manwhore a decade before the internet, I am so thankful she isn't PC savy or she'd be really harrassed and strung along right now.
I was shielding her from manwhores in Egypt on our trip. Still at 57 considerably naive, pliable, and a horrid ability to resist temptation.
She doesn't like Egypt and won't vacation there again, for which I am eternally thankful!

Wow, your Egyptian ex-husband is actually 14 years older than you??
My ex will be 39 this year, we came together when he was 25 and I was just 21.... gosh this sounds like many many years ago.

Tigerlily,
No I am not refering to my ex-husband.
I am refering to my ex-lover. He's 48 and has two adult college age children.
My ex-husband has a myspace webpage, and I occassionally view it. I don't think it'll get him remarried though. But at least the webpage will keep my hopes of him remarrying from dying.

Oh okay, sorry for the misunderstanding, Sono.
I was thinking to create a Facebook site myself but I get more and more the feeling I wanna keep family stuff to myself.
Hence one day you are friends with someone and the next day enemies and pics, videos and other information could get misused. I don't think so!!
I found several family members of my husband on Facebook though which was lovely. We gonna see almost all of them again very soon in Florida!

Nothing on it! I have never seen so many applications that are used.
I have heard that some companies use your Facebook account to look into the 'real you' to see if you are worth hiring or not! I am dubious as I only accept people I know! Anyhoo... I don't like friends united as any Jack $hit can look at your details and contact you.
I like poking MM lmao

But yes I agree with that. You need an invitation to be able to watch someone's complete profile!
