This posting is in response to something discussed here awhile back which struct me as a good idea, and it came from the most unexpected source - TheAmericanPatriot!
He claimed that he had evidence from 'experts,' of which he never produced, that would support his claim on the meaning of certain specific words in the Mtau Ntr...
So, I thought, why don't each of us write a brief email to several Egyptologists and ask them to do the following:
a) Translate the following 2 Mtau Ntr words directly into English:
Km.t Nw.t =
Kmmjw Nw.t =
b) --No euphemisms, just an exact translation
c) ask for permission to reference their name, etc...
I'm not going to recommend any particular Egyptologist to contact; simply google "email egyptologists"...

Here is a copy of the email that I use...I've sent out 7 inquiries so far...
quote: Sir, I am writing you and other Egyptologists to seek their knowledge of two very important words from the Mtau Ntr. The various translations given (Budge, Erman, Gardiner, etc...) are usually given as the Mtau Ntr title of Memphis and not the entire country. I'm speaking of "Aigypto" or "Temple of the essence of Ptah" - this I find unacceptable:
Could you
a) Translate the following 2 Mtau Ntr words precisely and directly into English:
Km.t Nw.t =
Kmmjw Nw.t =
b) and would it be ok to post your translations and your name on the EgyptSearch forum?
Thank you in advance for your consideration and cooperation
