Simple parsing: DSK raped the lady. That's all that should count.
But the high-priced Jew lawyers bought by DSK and wife know that DSK at the very least assaulted the worker, so the goal is to get the case dismissed. The worker has issues with immigration--as is the case with the bulk of Africans who travel to the U.S. in search of jobs. Exceptions: students, spouses of Americans, close relative of an American, diversity visa selection, or refugee.
That's the unfortunate thing: capital can flow anywhere to exploit at reduced costs, but workers cannot travel to higher wage areas as freely.
The hotel worker--note that when she arrived she would hardly know English or American immigration law--would have been advised by Guinean acquaintances once in the U.S. to get a lawyer who could arrange for her to get regularised status that would allow her to work. The lawyer would then coach the client as to what to say on the application documents and what to say at the interview.
After spending all that money to get a visa and on the plane ticket you will say anything--as "advised" by the lawyer who would know exactly how to proceed --you just want to stay and work for $7-$12 an hour.
That's what the DSK lawyers exploited hoping to get the case dismissed--and spring their man.
Right now there's enormous pressure being put on the DA and prosecution to release DSK--from France and from New York, which is really a Jewish city in terms of influence and power.
If the case goes to trial the DSK team will want to cleanse the jury panel of anybody who could harm their man. The Prosecution might just stay quiet on all this--for political reasons.
DSK in jail in the U.S. would be like Newt Gingrich jailed in France for same.
So the attacks will continue on the worker until something gives and the whole thing is settled out of court.
In U.S. jails they don't serve "Epaule de veau longuement mijotee, petit lait battu a la vanille". Or "cuisses de grenouille"--all washed down with a Pinot Noir.

Thats one of the stupidest posts Ive seen from you in a long time. You skipped over the revelations, just like the author of your article, and its not hard to figure out why. The law is guilty beyond reasonable doubt, so her background and actions after the alleged rape is going to be relevant in the case. This is why its over at this point. Your "chambermaid" collapsed the case. Get over it.

AofB, But there is more than adequate forensic evidence signifying a violent assault. You convict on provable evidence relevant to the crime scene only. The other stuff is just meant to bamboozle a jury--if it's dumb.
Recent Anthony case: the defendant was known to be pathological liar in the evidence she provided. It didn't matter. She walked.
So you see, you convict on relevant evidence not much more.

There is evidence of sexual intercourse, however, to prove rape beyond reasonable doubt is going to be difficult if not impossible given the actions of the "victim" after the incident as well as her background. You are wrong. And no need for the epithets. Point is that the forensic evidence includes ripped underclothes, injured shoulder[confirmed in hospital], door unlocked all through the episode, DSK's DNA, hasty retreat by assailant after assault[on camera].
Seems as if you are overlooking Strauss-Kahn's record as sexual predator--including the rape of a hotel maid in a Mexican hotel that was settled out of court. Then there's the sexual assault on Tristane Banon now being litigated in France.
All the behaviour of a seasoned rapist.
What actions of the victim and her background you are talking about? Mike Tyson was jailed for rape on zero forensic evidence, just the words of the complainant.

DSK claims that there was "activity" but it was "consensual". So either it was "consensual" or "non-consensual". If "non-consensual" even to the most minimal degree, then "sexual assault"--according to the law.
If "consensual" then no need to complain. If "non-consensual" then actionable grounds.
Julian Assange, the Wikileaks man, now fearing extradition to Sweden, could be jailed simply for not following instructions during mutually consented on activity.
So even if--and I doubt it because the suite door was always unlocked during the episode--the thing started off as consensual then "non-consensuality" entered the picture after it would still be assault. The forensic evidence supports the "non-consensuality" hypothesis.
The point about "unwanted attention on real hard working undocumented African immigrants" is irrelevant. A percentage of the people who live in the U.S. commit crimes--and that includes "undocumented immigrants" from all over. Some are African some are not. So this case should not be seen as some kind of anomaly at all. If you are sexually assaulted then you should complain--regardless of background--and even if you bend the facts on your taxes or your asylum application. Even Strauss-Kahn is a known liar--as his recent claim that Banon's recounting of events is "imaginary"--and yet she has phone texts of what he told her after his assault. He also lied in his reporting of his relationship with Nagy, the IMF economist.

Wow, you really are invested in this case to the point of sounding more and more naive and silly. She could have ripped her underclothes and injured shoulder, even without her con artist background (its not just taxes or lying on asylum application, stop being so selective) and actions after the incident the jury would've had this in the back of their minds. Now with the revelations it is going to be the dominant thing on their minds. Why do you think DSK team are all popping champagnes now? You think they are fuking stupid, they know its over. That you know of the power of Jewish lobby/lawyers to win no matter what, even when the case is not going in their favor, yet you try to compare DSK with Casey, Tyson and Assange shows how invested you are in this one to the point of self-delusion.

And in your world African female undocumented immigrants are all hopeless victims, utterly at the whims and fancies of immigration lawyers.
