And I bet she did not have such white skin to be called 'Cafezinho.' Garibaldi was not a white skinned man, as he was part of the European elite, which was brown and black of complexion, way into the 19th century. They did not consider themselves whites, the whites were their shoe leather. Whites emancipated in 1848 and painted history white.

no black image of Garibaldi to be found on the web.

[Robert Browning]

Robert Browning and his wife Elizabeth Barret Browning were partial to Garibali's struggle.
Their blackness was reveiled in 'Dared and done: the marriage of Elizabet Barret and Robert Browning.'Yet not completely understood by the writer as from what source their blackness came.

Barret wrote a long anti-slavery poem, identifying with the female slave who was raped, and killed her half-white baby.

I like you to post more of this, then the other silly stuff: as if their are two malibudusuls.

He could not have been the Garibaldi if he was white. He was not white. Its much like today: do Blacks wield power in Brazil? Do Indians have power in Brazil? Please answer this question. You cannot do anything unless you are recognized as part of the elite, and whites were not even seen as human. Forget about strange definitions of what Black is, they themselves did not think of themselves as whites, and that is what counts.
