I'm going to be flying to Alexandria from the USA sometime this summer and I was just wondering if it is better to book your plane ticket now, or should I wait until it gets closer? Also, does anyone have any tips on better airlines or how to get a cheaper flight? I think I would probably fly out of the New York area. Thanks! I'm so excited and can't wait to finally see this country I've learned so much about.

The only suggestion I'd make is not to be set completely on flying into Alexandria. That will limit your choices. Flying into Cairo will probably be a significantly cheaper route to take. Your friends from Alexandria can come to Cairo to meet you easily and economically.
