I am an American marrying an Egyptian in Cairo this spring. I was just wondering what attire would be appropriate for the civil ceremony? I certainly do not want to wear a fancy dress. Congratulations! My american friend is going to do the same in 2 weeks! And she wonders too about the right ceremony. Can you tell us more how you are proceeding? Is your/his family there? Will you have a big or small party?
