I will be going to Egypt this summer and would like to do some volunteer work when I am there. I am only a sophomore in college but would really like to do something health/medicine related. I know a little bit of Arabic. If anybody knows of anything that I might be able to do please let me know. Thank you.

I sent off your request to a good doctor friend of mine to see what ideas he might have. I'm thinking though that it might not hurt to know if you are male or female as this society is so restricted when it comes to gender. I'm not saying women can't do it all, it's just that if you would be working with people, you might need to work with men if you are a man, and women if you are a woman and therefore it would be helpful to know, to help place you. Also, when exactly will you be in Egypt? Thanks for responding. I'll let you know if he has any ideas.

I am male and I dont know the exact date of when i will be in egypt but itll be around the beginning/mid june for at least a month but i can probably stay until august if need be.
