Are you going through EgyptAir direct or via an agent? Anyways, I don't know of any other airline which services this route.

Indeed Egyptair are the only airline operating this route. They have 2 flights a week.

There is a luxurybus heading from 15th of maysquare, near sidi Gaber, that will take you in a few hours to the airport in Heliopolis. Cheap, if I remember well, not more then some 35 EG pounds a person. Nice sightseeing Egypt too. Visit the pyramids at Gizeh also (coming through that is)
