Odd, "Eurasian" Adam apparently didn't live in Eurasia!

^^Underpants is correct. Although I believe the name was to imply the common ancestor of Eurasians, it is misleading in that the common ancestor of all Eurasians was African.
Also, the map appears to be somewhat outdated as recent info shows the Out-of-African migrations to take place across the Gulf of Aden and into Southern Arabia and from there to India.
Also, the M35 lineage shown leaving the Nile Valley is not descended from the Out-of-African lineages that all Eurasians share but was developed much later in Africa. Thus, its expansion out of Africa was by recent African migrants.

To show the Eurasian Adam the M168 right hand branch should be followed then its left hand branch. That'd lead to M89. But even then the beachcombing ancestors of coastal south and east Asians wouldn't have M168 => M89 roots.
So M168 is considered the ancestor of all extra African male lineages as well as many intra African male lineages.
On the standard version of that type of map, as on the Genographic Project site, "Adam" is pin pointed between the Great Lakes and the Horn diverging from M91 along with M60.
Tosczak's map is accompanied by text on his site that recognizes "Eurasian Adam" as an African Man.
M168 gave rise to M174, an ancient African lineage that first appeared in a direct descendant of "Eurasian Adam." This lineage likely accompanied M130-bearing populations on their great migration some 50,000 years ago.
M174 is one of two African lineages defined by the presence of the YAP polymorphism—the other is M96.
The origins of M96 are unclear, though geneticists believe that the marker arose in northeast Africa. Further data, such as that collected by international projects currently underway, may shed light on the precise origin of this lineage.
M168 => YAP => M174 and M168 => M130 are usually ignored by Euro perceptive folk because those lineages don't lead to European or north and central Asians. Hence the fascination with the M168 => YAP => M96 => M35 line and the attempt to make haplotypes associated with M35 into a full fledged clade disassociated with Africa.
But why disassociate it from holoceneAfrican humanity? Perhaps because
quote:the E3b line of descent is most heavily represented in Mediterranean populations. Approximately
10 percent of the men in Spain belong to this haplogroup, as do
12 percent of the men in northern Italy, and
13 percent of the men in central and southern Italy. Roughly
20 percent of the men in Sicily belong to this group.
In the Balkans and Greece, between 20 to 30 percent of the men belong to E3b, as do nearly
75 percent of the men in North Africa.
The haplogroup is rarely found in India or East Asia. Around
10 percent of all European men trace their descent to this line. For example,
in Ireland, 3 to 4 percent of the men belong;
in England, 4 to 5 percent;
Hungary, 7 percent; and
Poland, 8 to 9 percent.
Nearly 25 percent of Jewish men belong to this haplogroup.
