It is becoming increasingly clear that the American people have rejected a government run ration based medical system.
The single stupidest idea to surface in western civilization is government control of the medical system.

Republicanism does NOT congrue with overt government control;-Republicanism
expects citizens to be independent and calls on them to perform civic duties.

A possible amelioration, is to enable the Sovereigns to pay for their own health-care.... to re-assign what belongs to the Sovereigns-independence.

Obama's "universal healthcare" program will be assigned infinitesimal financial resources; The 634 billion dollar allocated for this "universal healthcare" program at a glance may seem to be a tremendous investment.

Such an expenditure is to be spent over a ten year period- a modest annual commitment of 63.4 billion.

Universal healthcare is contrary to the principles of the U.S. Constitutional Republic, of a limited government, and of the independence of the individual; an arrangement which empowers individuals, rather than bureaucrat and corporations, is far more in tune with American Republicanism.

— Edward Mandell House, Founder of Council on Foreign Relations and promoter of League of Nations, said to Woodrow Wilson 1913- “Very soon, every American will be required to register their biological property in a national system designed to keep track of the people and that will operate under the ancient system of pledging. By such methodology, we can compel people to submit to our agenda, which will effect our security as a chargeback for our fiat paper currency. Every American will be forced to register or suffer being unable to work and earn a living. They will be our chattel, and we will hold the security interest over them forever, by operation of the law merchant under the scheme of secured transactions. Americans, by unknowingly or unwittingly delivering the bills of lading to us will be rendered bankrupt and insolvent, forever to remain economic slaves through taxation, secured by their pledges. They will be stripped of their rights and given a commercial value designed to make us a profit and they will be none the wiser, for not one man in a million could ever figure our plans and, if by accident one or two should figure it out, we have in our arsenal plausible deniability. After all, this is the only logical way to fund government, by floating liens and debt to the registrants in the form of benefits and privileges. This will inevitably reap to us huge profits beyond our wildest expectations and leave every American a contributor to this fraud which we will call “Social Insurance.” Without realizing it, every American will insure us for any loss we may incur and in this manner, every American will unknowingly be our servant, however begrudgingly. The people will become helpless and without any hope for their redemption and, we will employ the high office of the President of our dummy corporation to foment this plot against America.”

Then the people should also reject the very same government-run, socialized health care every U.S. Congressman and Senator receives at the expense of tax payers, you f'n moron!

The whole issue of his health plan is a subject of much debate. i mean He wants to cut federal payments to hospitals by about $200 billion and cut $300+ billion from Medicare and Medicaid over 10 years, which in my opinion would be a positive step. He also is proposing a $600+ billion in tax increases and spending cuts in the health care system as a "down payment" for his plan which is reasonable as far as the current medicare amd medicaid figures are concerned.

another positive item and which might not have public repercussions was the the economic stimulus legislation that passed over the winter which provides funding for comparative effectiveness research and which i myself have benefited from in terms of grant funding for research.

At the same time many people are concerned that Obamas halth plns can result in patients malpractice rights stripped away which i doubt at all if any but again a government take over of any health system would be disaterous despite the fact that reform is needed in certain areas of the health policies in the US
