There are a lot of parallels between the film and many of Elie Weisel's works, too. Girl in red comes to mind....
Excellent film, but so depressing.

fantastic movie, only movie I ever went to when the audience men and women went out sobbing..........the girl in red was what was most memorable part to me............ old but good.........
I saw this movies years ago-( I still have the vcr tape) and its so sad how the ppl were treated..

Nobody likes how the jews were killed & mistreated before but nobody likes what they do now to the palestinians & Lebanese. Jews should know better... they have been through injustice & pain themselves. I wonder why they'd inflict pain & injustice on others?
