Brittany Murphy is suspected to have died of natural causes following a massive heart attack. The 32-year-old's sudden death is being investigated by LA police, who are planning to conduct an autopsy "as soon as possible". No cause of death has been confirmed but the police are already ruling out anything suspicious. "Foul play is not suspected at this time because there were no outward signs of trauma or other injuries," said the coroner's Capt John Kades. The actress was found "unresponsive" in her West Hollywood home on Sunday morning, reportedly by her mother Sharon. Though paramedics took her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, she was pronounced dead two hours later. "We don't have an autopsy scheduled yet, but we will do it as soon as possible," Kades said. "Given all the worldwide attention, if we can get it done [Monday], we will." A police spokesman said the death investigation would be "routine" and that a toxicology test for alcohol and drugs would be conducted as part of it. The results are not expected for several weeks.
