kembu Member # 5212	posted These Nubians look Egyptian to me. Sometimes, it's really hard to tell the difference, especially when they are dressed similarly. Other than the pitch black skin tone of the two in the picture, I would have concluded that they were Egyptians. Seems like Kemet and Nubia were like peas and carrot.

I mean in a "racial" sense yea, but culturally, well, it depends on what region you're talking about my man. Lower nubia is pretty much, even from predynastic times, the cultural twin of egypt, while upper nubia (especially the extreme southern portions) was for the most part of a whole different culture from egypt, that is until they were brought under egyptian domination .
