These Nubians look Egyptian to me. Sometimes, it's really hard to tell the difference, especially when they are dressed similarly. Other than the pitch black skin tone of the two in the picture, I would have concluded that they were Egyptians.

Seems like Kemet and Nubia were like peas and carrot.

Do you notice that the glyph to the left of the head of the noble on the far left looks like the word "nubi?"--does to me...

Course it probably refers to that gold stuff being carried on the tray beneath it...

That would be the 18th dyansty during the New Kingdom. At this time Egypt's border extended around to the Fourth cataract in modern Sudan.

Depends on whose list your using as prime documentation;
Tjemehu, Nehesu, A3mu, H3w Nebu, and even some Romitu!

But this tomb painting of Tiy and Amenhotpe III's dais has:
Sen-gar
Kush
Naharin

Keftiu
Iuntiu-seti
Tehenu
Mentu-nu-setet
Shasu.

I mean in a "racial" sense yea, but culturally, well, it depends on what region you're talking about my man. Lower nubia is pretty much, even from predynastic times, the cultural twin of egypt, while upper nubia (especially the extreme southern portions) was for the most part of a whole different culture from egypt, that is until they were brought under egyptian domination [Smile] .
