Niankhpepi Kem's tomb is designated A1 Meir. It dates to the reign of Pepi II and was uncovered by Daressy and Barsanti who found two statues of the owner in it.
One was large sculpting Niankpepi Kem as if he were walking. His hair or wig is in a short lock pattern leaving his ears uncovered.
He wears a white kilt and belt with tab and apron. He holds a staff in the hand of his extended left arm. He also has an object in his right hand down at his side.
Besides the two bigger statues there were several small ones of offering bearers, workers, and an interesting one of a naked lady dancer judging by the long plait of hair attached to the statue.

Some in zealous error have supposed the below statue to be that of the tomb owner rather than a bearer but compared to the above two pics which class of person does it really resemble the most?
