[/qb]
Of course, but I still don't believe that you catch my drift, so this might be sub-conscience on your part. You've effectively reduced blacks as non-primary subordinates and a sub-group, when the sub-group are non black Africans. Keeping that social criteria in mind, the lighter skinned, more influenced Africans are less authentic per se (in a biological sense), so if you are to insist on using adjectives, then it should apply to the said sub-group. More examples: Albino Alligator (most alligators aren't albino), Black cat (most cats aren't black), African American (most Americans aren't recently African derived), Hot comb (most combs aren't hot). ^^Do you see why referring to the majority of Africans as "Black Africans", while referring to Berbers as "Africans" (as opposed to the other way around, excluding the color descriptor), is problematic?? Not trying to lecture (you're a bright person), I just like to be sure that my initial point was taken since you seem to be addressing something else. [/QB]
