All historical records show Ramses and his family to be native Egyptians who's native tounge was Egyptian and NOT Semitic speakers from Arabia. In todays mideast political climate this is a result Egyptisn lesaders would want to avoid at all costs. [/qb]
First of all, you contradict yourself since you stated these kings to be 'Arab' in the first place. Second of all, there were no 'Arabs' in the ancient Levant anyway and that all modern day Arabs and Muslims agree with the fact that of course the peoples of the ancient Levant would have been primarily Jewish, specifically in the kingdom of Israel. This leads us to the simple fact that today, with the exception of the European Jews, there is no genetic distinction between 'Arab' or Muslim Palestinians and the native Jews who stayed in the Levant! So of course the real reason why the Council of Antiquities and the rest of the Egyptian government is concerned over the DNA findings is quite obvious to anyone with sense.
