Common in the Sahel and East Africa but can be found pretty much throughout all of Africa. Not uncommon amongst African Americans for various reasons. You know all of this intuitively I think. As far as relatedness of any groups, it is all based on relative distance. For AE it was simply the Nile the united people together genetically. Thats why Nubians are the closest to Egyptians of any people (now and in the past). This simple fact should end the debate but it still goes on. [/QB][/QUOTE]
