Major news wires have reported multiple explosions in Kano, in the northern region of Nigeria.
The multiple explosions happened around 5pm local time. Initial report suggests that the Nigerian Police Headquarter could have been among the targeted places.
An Associated Press reporter reports that earth wave from the explosion “shook his car.”
Similar past incidents, such as the bombing of the Police Headquarters and U.N office both in Abuja were carried out by Boko Haram, an Islamist militia group based in North-East of Nigeria.
