An "ancient" Greek statue found in a sheep pen north-west of Athens last week has now been deemed a fake.

At first, archaeologists at Greece's Culture ministry thought the figure of a woman dated from the 6th century BC.

Now, a closer examination has found moulding marks and traces of bubbles which prove it is a copy, sources at the ministry told news agencies.

Two men were arrested last week for allegedly trying to sell the statue for half a million euros (£417,000).

They are currently awaiting trial on charges of looting antiquities.

The figure is 1.2m (4ft) tall and depicts an archaic maiden, but experts are now certain it is a cast rather than an original sculpture.

They say it is an identical copy of a statue found in the Acropolis in Athens, and not an item of "priceless historical value" as originally thought.

Ah yes, more of the Albinos handiwork.

My own guess is that if Black researchers were to examine the contents of Albino museums, all of the "Supposed ancient" Albino looking material would be thrown in the trash.

On an unpainted sculpture what is your criteria for determining it is "albino looking" ?

I suspect you will now attempt a clever roundabout "answer" (avoidance) with mulitple picture spams.

However if you were to attempt a straightforward written list of your criteria is for determining what "albino looking" you would be at odds with Iron and Egmond

In other words you will not attempt to openly state what your criteria is for determining what "albino looking". At most you will just put up photos. We know you

In other words you can only argue certain things with photo examples in place of taking an actual stand, no commitment only acrobatic flips.

And when you put up these photos I will have to ask you the same question again "why are they albino looking?"
And again you will avoid the question and put up more pretty pictures.

You're very predictable

thanks for admitting to this

Hey, Lionese, quit the squabbling about Albinos or no.

The reason why I put this up is so that you can read from the horse's mouth (BBC is a main stream western news agency) that indeed, your people are the masters of fake arts and artefacts.

Secondly that only the naive would trust the words or authority of your academics, researchers, historians, liars and other fake asses.

Thirdly, if you observe carefully, the fake was done by Europeans in Europe.

Finally, this is just an example of how corrupt, depraved and putrid your sciences and systems prove to be.

Racist epithets are not allowed Mikey boy. Of course they would be if Black "researchers" got ahold of them, after all you would do anything to uphold your delusional beliefs.

yes this is a silly thread, a simpleminded attempt to suggest hey look at these Europeans they make fake statues trying to make black people look white (which could be ture in some cases but has nothing to do with this case)
Then Ironed does other threads worshiping Russian Icons, Roman sculpture and German kings made by these very same Europeans -( wannabeeism)

If we look at the actual case here the intent had nothing to do with race. Some people were trying to pull a scam and make money from a forgery of sculpture and pass it off as a vaulable antiquity.
All of the sudden they are representatives of every European and they are trying to make a statue "look white"
or "pink" as you like to say.
You don't think Nigerians, famous for scams, would be pulling off similar schemes if they had the opportunity to make make antiquities forgeries for profit?
This simple minded thread is irrelavant

True, I was going to add, fake as Anguished-of-being-fucked-up, an albino who came to this Board claiming to be a Jamaican, then an African, then finally proves to be nothing but a fake and flithy pink ass swine.... [Big Grin] [Razz]

Dang! Albinos are hopeless liards!

Noo, Nigerians just con pink-ass Mungus like you. Nigerians are proud of who they are, they never claim other people's culture or achivements like you hopeless lying albinoids...

Mike had a thread demonstrating that you and your ancestors are forgers. The fake ass Ausar deleted it because the information was just too powerful.

Then, what would you have? BBC News publishes the same theme two weeks later.... aha...

And all Lionese can grumble about is that she was called a forger and an albinoid.

Well on both counts, we are correct!
