Mike, aren't the carvings exquisite?

This was at a time when Europe could only produce straight lines as art work.

I tought the Benin bronze statue hair was soft hair. Looking closely the Benin statue hair is indeed dreadlocks. There is a lot of Egyptian, Kushite and Graeco Roman statues with breaded hairs and dreadlocks.
