They swap out the images, because, again, that is all they are concerned with. They can claim "black means white" so long as there is no depictions of the person labeled properly. With Blackadder, predictably, the image was hidden by an uploader whose tech skills are apparently not up to par. This is why contemporary literature is rarely used in classrooms unless abridged or heavily annotated to alter meaning. Modern textbooks allows for an easy telling false history.
