The REAL rich kids of Zimbabwe: Silver Rolls-Royces, bundles of cash and a golden revolver- incredible extravagance of offspring of Mugabe's cronies is revealed while the rest of the country live in poverty

Mena: I am very surprise to see the rich lifestyle of Zimbabwe politicians andbusinessmen children. I was expecting that rich lifestyle from the children of politicians of oil rich Nigeria, Angola, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. I thought Zimbabwe had a bankrupt economy.

I dont have a problem with chief of states or lawmakers becoming rich when they are in power or after they live power as long they respect the laws of their countries.I dont have a problem with chief of states giving money to their children, making them rich and using their power and connection to give their children a good jobs or businesses as long as it is legal. The international rules of the political game is politicians who gets to the top job become rich.

The western media usually blame African, Latin American, Middle East and Chinese chief of states for becoming rich with their families in power. But the same thing happen in the West and Western media dont criticize Western chief of states for using their jobs to get rich. All the USA presidents, British prime ministers, French presidents, German prime ministers and Italian prime ministers become rich with their families after they leave their jobs. the children of the Western chief of states uses their parents connections to get good jobs and open businesses.

The CEOs of USA Fortune 500 corporations are receiving hundred of million of dollars in salary and stocks during their time on the job for doing less work and having less stress then the president of the USA. I remember a Disney CEO who was fired for incompetence and given $80 million to go away after one year on the job because of his contract.

My problem with African chief of states is not becoming rich but is staying in power for more then ten years because being in power for a long period of time corrupt the chief of state and create jealousy among other politicians in the country who want to become president to serve their country and becoming famous and rich. The USA was very smart for creating term limit, after two terms a president cant serve again.

The sheer stupidity of it all--just like that ridiculous son of Obiang in Equatorial Guinea.

In the case of Mugabe, blame that stupid typist wife of his. Dumb and stupid blacks just go into a feeding frenzy when Euro-America brandishes the baubles and trinkets of capitalist production before their greedy eyes.

Something is missing from their neocortexes. No sense of guilt or shame.

Mugabe was one the "freedom fighters" against the white settler regime of South East Africa named after Cecil Rhodes. The Northern part was named Northern Rhodesia the Southern part, Southern Rhodesia. The Northern part gained independence as Zambia headed by Kaunda. But the Southern part had a sizable number of white settlers who liked the place because of a nice Mediterranean climate and arable land. They just confiscated the land then used the land usufructarians to work on the land they used before. In the process, many of the locals protested but they were hung or directly killed in the process.

So a counter-settler was started and the settlers eventually threw in the towel--hoping that a neo-colonial solution could be worked out--as in Zambia and South Africa. Theorem: we the whites keep all the important economic resources and you the Africans just go to Parliament.

Mugabe, after Muzorewa, Sithole, Nkomo,etc--fell by the wayside--became President. Lancaster Hall agreements were hammered out about land, etc., but the whites reneged. The British tried to bribe Mugabe with accolades such as "Good Ole Bob", etc.

Mugabe might have settled for that as is the case in many parts of Africa including South Africa.

But the WAR VETERANS were the ones that pushed him to honor what the LIBERATION WAR was all about. It was a war about LAND. Mugabe quickly remembered his anti-colonial credentials. The War Veterans sprang into action after the Lancaster House agreements were reneged on and seized the lands occupied by the white settlers.

The white West went beserk and hit Zimbabwe with punishing sanctions and a procrustean CREDIT SQUEEZE. Zimbabwe was effectively put in quarantine. A massive inflation followed with many Zimbabweans fleeing to South Africa--where they were treated very badly for the most part.

The goal of the white West was to bring down Mugabe and install their puppet Morgan Tsvangirai who promise to return the land to the settlers. His movement financed by the U.S. and Britain was labeled the MDC. But this U.S./Britain initiative failed.

The restored land was parceled out to hundreds of people with no relation to the military and Mugabe. After all, the War Veterans were monitoring the situation. But the Western propaganda continued with the lying claim that Mugabe and the Army took all the land.

Then Mugabe began doing some very foolish things--all influenced by his stupid and greedy ex-typist wife--who is more than 40 years younger. That's the story right there: an older guy being influenced by a greedy, shameless and corrupt, gold-digging witch. It happens.

Since Mugabe did not do their bidding, they are releasing details of his acquisitions.

THose who do their bidding all over Africa are Good 'ole Men

http://punchng.com/mugabe-amassed-1bn-including-a-rare-rolls-royce-worth-more-than-zimbabwes-economy/

Ex-President Robert Mugabe is reportedly worth more than $1bn despite his country being one of the poorest in the world.

Mugabe’s wealth has come under the microscope following a military coup earlier in the week.

The 93-year-old dictator has accumulated significant wealth during his rule under which thousands of people have been killed over the past 37 years.

Local media reports suggest a small part of his fortune was reaped from Zimbabwe’s diamond deposits. Mugabe owns the Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Co.

He has repeatedly been accused of stealing from the country’s coffers, while he also reportedly acquired 15 acres of land during land seizures in 2000.

According to a 2001 US diplomatic cable, later released by the whistle-blowing organisation WikiLeaks, Mugabe has about $1.75bn worth of assets, mostly invested outside Zimbabwe.

It said that while reliable information was difficult to find, there were rumours his assets “include everything from secret accounts in Switzerland, the Channel Islands and the Bahamas to castles in Scotland.”

Opposition politicians have claimed the Mugabes own 14 farms in the bankrupt country, which would be in contravention of the constitution, which limits land holdings.

The best known is the Omega Dairy farm, one of the largest dairy farms in southern Africa.

Although the family has claimed not to be wealthy, Mugabe has flaunted his wealth in the past. Just three years ago, he famously dined on elephant and lion meat at his lavish 90th birthday celebrations.

Mugabe’s home in Harare is said to be extraordinarily opulent but it’s not the only mansion in his property portfolio. The president purchased a $5.2m mansion in Hong Kong in 2013 and also owns Hamilton Palace in Sussex, UK, which was estimated to be worth about $40m before it became a construction site.

He is also said to own a custom-built Mercedes Benz s600L that is able to withstand AK-47 bullets, landmines and grenades. It also features a CD and DVD player, internet access and anti-bugging devices.

The Citizen reported that Mugabe — who is a trained teacher — also owns a Rolls-Royce Phantom IV: a colonial-era British luxury car so exclusive, only 18 were ever manufactured.

The vintage black car is estimated to be worth more than Zimbabwe’s entire GDP.

Given the West's hatred of Mugabe for taking back some stolen lands--the non-stop attacks continue.

Thus, all those claims by the West's propaganda sheets. But are they true? Where are the bank sheets and which banks?

On the same topic the vile Western media such as BBC, CNN and Euronews are non-stop on Mugabe.

They keep showing crowds of cheering people-who are just stupid enough to believe that VP replacement is some kind of panacea. Blame all around--Mugabe, his stupid and greedy wife, and the stupidly cheering crowds.

The cheering fools--mostly very young people don't seem to understand that the West is using their cheering to indirectly attack the seizure of those lands the settler whites stole.

Point is Zimbabwe is a small African country--yet the vile Western media are acting as if Putin was overthrown.

Instead of focusing on the Saudi non-stop slaughter of the Yemenis they focus instead on departure of a 93 year old guy from the presidency of a small African country.
