1 day to go, before I'm off to egypt .....but I thought of one last Q please. Whats the standard way to pay rent for short term accomodation in cairo? i.e lets say a month? Would it be wise to pay rent in advance...or put a deposit down, and then pay the rest at the end? Anyone who has rented there before, please let me know the way you paid.

Hi Sumayyah, Yes, u might pay the month in advance + half or full month deposit ( as an insurance) I just rented a flat for some one here in ES and her partner; U have to pay as I told u + a commision for the Company from 10 to 15% but it's always better to contact the owner directly to pay less commision.
