I somehow can imagine how you must feel. Once you fell in love with that place it will always be in your heart.
I am hoping also since years to return one day back to Cairo. Maybe next summer?
I lived for three years in Egypt and I can say without any doubt this was the most wonderful time I had so far in my life. I can only top it by returning.
Hope your dream will come true............

I know the exact feeling, empty, alone. I feel it too, Egypt is not my home country but it is the only place i have felt that i truly belonged... hugs to you,i know the feeling well
