Hi group -
Does anyone know of ceremonies/rituals that are performed in Egypt that are distinct only to Egypt? For example Mexico has Temezcals (spiritual bathing ceremonies); Native Americans have Sweat Lodges, Peru has Ayahuesca ceremonies???

All I know of are some fertility sites where women go to pray for healthy sons. There's a small pond in the grounds of Medinet Habu Temple where you might find the odd fellahin woman frollicking in at night.

Then there are all the Sufi saints that people ask blessings from...
