Egypt, in an effort to increase tourism, has approved a visa on arrival sheme for Indians wishing to travel around the country, said the Egyptian Tourist Authority
Indian travellers could make use of the Urgent Visa at the Cairo International Airport provided they were in the country only for the purposes of business or to tour.
The visa would cost $20.
The authority was hoping to capitalise on India's outbound market, which was expected to grow at 15 - 20 percent a year.
India has the fifth fastest growing tourism industry in the world.
