The product of (probably the american) age-segregated school system, these poor kids cannot relate to someone who is not in the same graduation year as themselves. Believe it or not, older people have LOT to offer people of your age.

hi jennifer I totally have to agree with you. I'm 21 aswell but i much prefer to have a circle of friends who are older. it is true of the saying the older we get the wiser we are.

I'm kinda new to the board too.....and I'm only 19, but age really is just a number. I know a lot of 30 year old who act 18, and 18 year olds who act 30. You really cant judge a persons intellectual ability by their age.

So how old r u then Carmen? Dont blame them sometimes they just want to be in a world of their own or around people their age! of cos older people got lot to offer them, they are not ready to learn hence needing people in their age group!

I am 28, and, funnily enough, as long and as well as I have known Carmen, I do NOT know how old she is! Know when the babe's due, though, lol.
