Hi ya'll

I know this may be a bit boring compared to many other "hot" issues on here but could anyone tell me where to get a descent haircut in Maadi? Most places I have seen and tried seem to be determined to not get me (or anyone else) back as a customer.

Thanks for your answers!

S

Have you tried the hairdresser in the Maadi Towers hotel you get a good/reasonable hair cut for about EŁ50 or EŁ60. But you must insist all you want is just a hair cut and not a face massage, otherwise your'll end paying around EŁ100. If you are good at haggling you might get it for less.

Try Luciano's over on Road 209 next to the Cairo American College. Price for a men's cut is 40.00 EGP which includes the facial massage, etc, which you can decline if you so wish. I have been going there for nearly 2 years now and have absolutely no complaints.

I've been going to a great guy for the last 4 years - his name, and the business name, is simply Sam. Address: 68 Road 105, Hadayek el Maadi. It's a couple of minutes from the courthouse building on the corniche. Sam trained under Vidal Sassoon and worked in London and New York. He speaks perfect English. I highly recommend him!
